An important decision 😊
Hi guys, how are you? today I bring you an important poll for the novel, I've been analyzing the time it takes to make and render the images of the novel, and since each chapter takes more and more images (and also the weight of the file is getting bigger and bigger), I thought to change a little the format of the dialogue images, to make them and render them faster, and only the images with the character's expression would change and the background would be the same image on the back, with or without Blur (this makes that when rendering the image without background it would be ready in minutes and not hours💪).
In short, it would speed up the delivery time of each chapter, and it would lighten the weight of the files. But I also know that many of you are here because you like the current format of the novel, and as it is an important change I wanted to put it to a vote, after you have the final say in the matter 😊. Of course this change will only affect the dialogue scenes, the sex scenes will remain as always and will not change at all. As always and specially in this matter I would like to read your comments and suggestions or doubts👂, it's an important change. Hugs

i know look and feel is important, but for me who has eye issue is as long as its clear, readable, and easy to read understandable dialogues is all it takes. The visuals already made up for it a thousand times.

I really like that the backgrounds are clearly visible even during the dialogues, it's definitely an aspect of the game that appeals to me - but If it saves you so much time (and space on your and my drive :D), then I support your idea of course - love your game, keep up the great work ♡

My vote is on 2 if you want to use such format, easier to focus on the character. And I'm all for it , especially if it helps making the game less bloated.

Right now I find the chapters very confusing. It would be great if they were packaged together or in to grouping that made more sense. While I think the technical idea is good, I am concerned that you're mixing techniques with what has already been made. Also I am concerned that it will look very static but I am sure you can refine the process.

I think the proposed change is a great, and is usually my preferred visual method for visual novels tbh

I find this idea amazing because its going to take a big load of your shoulders and give the time and energy to upgrade your content and push the story forward.
Personally I like the idea of seeing only the characters because its less tiring to observe. Better to make 3D images only for the sexual encounters from now on.

I actually really like the idea of the blurred background, both for the time saving but also it puts the focus on the characters. I say go for it!
